And to answer your question, I … well, basically, I put on a beanie, covered it with plastic and then papier maché:d (ie used ripped up newspaper and wallpaper paste) the whole thing. When that was dry, I used a sturdier kind of paper and tape (lots of tape! I love tape) to create a base. I tried it on a couple of times, just to see if it would look alright. And then I worked from there. Hope it helped!
