You used bolt cutters to get in, and as soon as you get in (inside a creepy bank, to check on creepy things, while you’re a huntress and you KNOW what goes bump in the night) - you set the bold cutters aside …? I’d rather you were armed, actually. Also, what the fuck happened in that bank? Was there an earthquake? Things are littered everywhere, a lamp is lying on the floor - if it was just abandoned, they’d have taken those things with them.
Also, whut? Mrs Morell? And I also got a feeling that what Allison heard wasn’t the fight, it was the suspenseful music …

OH COME ON! Scott could hear Allison talk on her phone from inside his classroom on his FIRST DAY as a werewolf, and you’re telling me a pack of Alphas couldn’t hear Allison and Mrs Morell there ten seconds earlier? Derek and them don’t have to worry - these are obviously shit werewolves …

*conveniantly placed ammonia in a bank that has been abandoned for years - where everything is dusty except for the conveniently appeared ammonia* One could also argue that the sudden appearance of the scent of ammonia (pretty strong, fyi) would alert the Alphas who’s apparantly been living in that bank for a while, that something was amiss …

Oh wait. It all makes sense now. Ammonia, to hide the scent of corpses. Okay. I buy that.

Okay, to be fair, that bank LOOKS like a Bond villain’s lair. With the run-down everything and the shiny polished vault door and the logo painted EVERYWHERE …

No way was there convenient moonlight shining through that hole in the wall. No way. I don’t buy it. Stiles said there’d be JUST enough room … but Scott and Derek came through that hole and it looked like a whole ROOM back there.

I’ve had a lot of thoughts about mountain ash and the barriers they create, and I NEED TO KNOW what would happen if one of the werewolves in the vault just threw their opponent out of the vault. Would the mountain ash stop a werewolf in mid-air? ‘Cause that would be awesome.
Also, Allison showing up in the opening just to shout “Look out!” … no. Just, no. (Because what, no alphas heard her? And didn’t Scott and Derek see their opponents themselves?)

JUST TELL HER, SCOTT! I don’t know why he hasn’t told her already. I’m really glad for Allison, though, realizing that Gerard wasn’t her fault. And I’m still strangely glad that Derek’s still angry at her - that he’s angry at someone other than himself.

Man this just means he’s taking his vaguely criminal activities seriously now. If he’s going to do some messed-up shit he’s going to do it right, by god. Which is why he’s got the cell phone his dad gave him, which basically has like three numbers in it and, let’s face it, is seriously outdated technology. Then he’s got his burner phone, his Serious Wolf-and-or-Lizard-Man Business phone, the one that’s password-locked and all the contacts have code-names, the one with the extra-tough shock-proof case and really good GPS just in case his friends need to use it to find his body someday.

The case is waterproof too. He’s not taking any more chances. No way, no how. And if he could figure out how to infuse it with magic so it’s impossible to smash, he’d do that shit too.

I feel like there’s a lot of subtext in this scene, particularly with Stiles, and we should be talking about it. Yeah, Stiles looks resigned to the fact that they’re about to start helping Derek. But, to me, he almost looks guiltily surprised in the 2nd gif. And in the 4th gif, his body language almost looks like an “I’ve been caught” shift. And why is Scott looking at Stiles that way?

Before, when Derek said,”Peter, Isaac, and I have been looking for them for the last 4 months,” his eyes flick over to Stiles:

And then Stiles immediately looks irritated:

Almost like, ‘Oh, here we go. Scott’s gonna find out.’

My new headcanon is that Stiles has been helping Derek out with research on the Alpha Pack and trying to find Erica and Boyd during the summer. He didn’t tell Scott about it because he and Derek didn’t exactly part on good terms. And Scott looks at Stiles with slight surprise in the 3rd gif because he’s starting to put it all together: All those times he tried to get Stiles to hang out but Stiles bailed out on him with half-formed excuses. Why Stiles’ room smells so strongly of werewolf even though Scott’s the only one that would be there and it’s been several weeks since he last visited. Why Stiles was so reluctant to ask Derek for help with the tattoo.

And yes, I’m probably reading way too much into this, but I just really want this to be a thing! Can this be a thing that we all agree on?
